Qatar is strategically located with one of the biggest airport hubs located at Doha. Over the years Qatar has emerged as region's one of the luxurious destinations by preserving its cultural beauty.

If you are planning to visit Qatar, we would suggest you to plan it for at least 4-5 days. Doha is a vibrant city with skyscrapers, beautiful coastline, luxurious hotels and traditional markets. The best time to visit Qatar is when it is not hot, during October to April.

How to explore?

Doha has great public transport. The city is well connected with buses and metro. Right from the airport, metro takes you to the city. If you want to travel private, you can get cabs from apps which are not very expensive. Cabs can take you to any far off places, where metro is not available.

Perfect 5 Day Itinerary:

Day 1:

Keep the first day a bit relaxed. After checking in your hotel head to the Souq Waqif. Feel yourself immersed in the cultural beauty of Doha. The shops here are set up in a modern outlay selling beautiful stuff. The souq looks even more beautiful towards the evening - well lit up. The souq also has a bird market - do visit it to witness beautiful birds (but caged). You will also come across - The Golden Thumb Statue. There are some beautiful cafes, sit and relax here and eat the local food. you will also find a Falcon Souq. You can witness these handsome creatures and also get a picture with them for very nominal price. If you still have enough time left then get around the coast and take boat tour in the famous Arabic Dhow.

The Meryal Waterpark is well know for the World's tallest waterslide! There are numerous fun filled rides set right near the sea. After getting back to the city and relaxing a bit, visit some pubs or bars and enjoy the vibes.

On this day, you can go for the desert safari outside the city. you will witness the beautiful sand dunes. Come back to the city and visit the harbor area. From here you can get to the Al Safliya Islands, 20 min off the city. It is a small island, beautiful for swimming and relaxing in the water. After coming back, visit the Qanat Quartiers close by. The place will look like Venice with canals where you also enjoy a boat ride. The place has a lot of cafes and restaurants near the canals. Spend peaceful time here and exploring the place and take pictures.

Day 5:

This is your beach day. Visit the famous B12 Doha Beach Club. Great to spend your time relaxing at the beautiful beach club, have great food and drinks. You can also have fun at the floating park to jump around fall in water and share laughs. Towards the evening, visit the Villaggio Mall. Usually we do not recommend visiting malls anywhere, but this mall is special. The roof looks like a sky here and the best thing here is the Venetian vibes and the gondola ride here.
